Best eats in Burke County. A little crazy busy - just order two cocktails when you sit at the bar and relax in the bustle. Lunches are quiet and same great food.

My first time, and I am visiting from Florida. What a hidden gem! The food and service were amazing and I love the atmosphere. Cocktails were great we had a Moscow mule and old fashioned. My mom had the filet and I had the shrimp and scallops with bacon and corn risotto (to die for!) The strawberry tart should be added to the menu we were practically licking the bowl! Great job to all the staff and hard workers!

Came to this place to meet a friend halfway between Savannah and where she lives. Stopped here due to the reviews and to try something new. I ordered the Grouper Po-Boy with the potato salad. We started off with the fried shrimp. My wife ordered the BLT with sweet potato fries. Then we ordered the creme brulee and chocolate carmel brownie. The overall food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great as well. It really had the southern charm that you would hope to have in a small town restaurant. It's also worth noting that the food was quite affordable as well! Here are my ratings: Fried Shrimp 10:10 Tarter Sauce 10:10 Grouper Po-Boy 8:10 ( mostly good but had a few bites that were fishy) BLT 10:10 Potato Salad 7:10 ( it was pretty good, but it actually reminded me of the yellow mustard potato salad you can buy in a container) Sweet Potato Fries 10:10 Creme Brulee 10:10 Chocolate Brownie 8:10

A Culinary Oasis in Waynesboro: Good Day Cafe If you’re searching for a dining experience that feels like a warm embrace from start to finish, look no further than Good Day Cafe. As someone who visits Waynesboro quarterly, this gem has become my sanctuary—a place where Southern charm meets global flair, and every bite feels like a masterpiece. The menu is a love letter to epicurean creativity, blending down-home comfort with bold, inventive twists. On day one, I savored the Seared Shrimp & Scallops—a dish so perfectly balanced, it danced between richness and freshness. Day two brought the Ribeye a succulent, flavor-packed triumph that melted like butter. And yes, the legendary Tonkatsu Pork lives up to its reputation (a must-try for first-timers!). But let’s talk dessert: their Key lime pie is nothing short of divine, with a tangy-sweet crescendo that I crave long after leaving. Beyond the food, Good Day Cafe is an *oasis*. Tucked away like a well-kept secret, its cozy, eclectic ambiance invites you to unwind—a respite from the everyday hustle. Loved this cafe!! The food was delicious and served by a wonderful lady named Bobbie who was so friendly and a great server. The restaurant uses its old salvaged materials and artwork on the walls to make a beautiful decor. We ordered the shrimp basket with fries and a grilled cheese and French onion soup. Also enjoyed the amazing desserts. We really liked the town of Waynesboro and hope to go back someday.
